Bravo to the developers for having corrected the network bug as soon as discovered ! The app is very good, and gives a very interesting view on China life.

New version always shows update failed and check network connection. My wifi is fine.

New version felt like a downgrade it lags and says no connection -1000000000stars

Good user interface. Has pictures. Various sections including opinion. Only problem is that the text in articles is hard to read because it is grey and not black. I also like other app SHD shanghai daily as it gives a more local news and issues.

This app is very well organized and user friendly! Provides the reader with an excellent source of domestic and international news from a Chinese perspective!

You dont need a VPN not even to share a story to Twitter but you seem to need a VPN to share a story to Facebook.

I got my first paper copy of China Daily. It was a free copy on an airplane going to Shanghai. Now, being able to have it, free, on my iPad is absolutely fabulous. This app is as good as CNNs and BBCs. Well done!

Its a pretty good app. I can get the newest information about China and abroad and learn English at the same time.

Zombie app! Do not download by all means!

Basic on its rich contents of the original paper resouses, this application is worth and easy to use. The speed is pretty good and icon/logo designs are all fine. Bads: the "photo" contents have ugly "capture" fonts and overwrite onto the picture itself instead of smart "subtitle" could be automatic hide and show. And the landscape is not support when reading article. The fonts zooming button (+/-) have wier actions: one tap on (+) will change into largest size of font instead of stepping up! Looking forward to its new update. (frankly speaking, I do not like its font personally (dont you have other fonts expect Times Roman?!)

I love the new interface. Really impressive. But it always takes too long time to download news photos. It just seems like crash. Please fix it ASAP.

Cant use it unless they know your location. Without knowledge of your location they will deny access to the content.
